Gifts on the Brain

Maybe it's because I spent an hour and a half wrapping presents tonight, but I realized that I haven't blogged about my beautiful new project bags, like this one:
For months I've been thinking I'd sew some up myself, but that was delusional. I'm a terrible seamstress and my sewing machine is buried in our back room.

So one day I spent a few moments on Etsy and found these lovely, reasonably priced bags from Ruddawg. They start at $7.50 for a small sock bag and go up a small increments. I was so excited when I got the one above and this one:
They are sturdy and flawlessly put together. Each bag has a nice pocket and draw-string closure.

The funny thing was that the return address was for a small Wisconsin town, less than an hour from Madison. Who knew?

So, if you're looking for a gift for knitter (maybe even yourself), check out Ruddawg!

Cute! I need to make some of those. Gallon sized ziplocks are my current project bags. Sigh.

Every now and then I take a joyride looking at the knitting bags on ETSY. I can't buy myself one because of knowing how to sew, having a sewing machine, having a fabric stash and having guilt about it all. Congratulations, intrepid one.

Those project bags are very cute! I should make some of those myself...they would make good gifts for my knitter friends.
